If you decide to hangout in Santa Teresa, want to eat something, but don´t feel like eating feijoada in Bar do Mineiro, there are many other places too. One that stands out, especially when it comes to seafood, is a place called Sobrenatural. It's located on the main part of Santa Teresa. Most of the time it's not packed, so you won’t have any problems to find a table. I don't consider this a good place for drinking, so I would just advise you to go there to grab something to eat.

Bar do Mineiro – Santa Teresa - Food

A good place to go on a weekend, specially if you don't like to stay the full day on the beach or on a foggy day in Rio. One of the best Feijoadas (a typical Brazilian dish) in town. Good choice to start you day with great food, even if you don't want Feijoada. It has other good dishes too. You feel like drinking a cold beer in this place. Leave your name on the waiting list and get beer or drinks with snacks, while you wait. And if you don't care for a dish, just order your drinks and snack outside, while you get to know some locals.

There's always a party going on close by, and they normally are crazy and fun, because it's located on a very charming neighborhood in Rio, called Santa Teresa. Starting place and preferred area for new artists. The women can enjoy local shops for exclusive products. Not only fashion, but handmade objects too.
